Hill Labs proud sponsor of BFEA

Hill Labs has been a proud sponsor of the Ballance Farm Environment Awards since 2003. This long standing partnership celebrates farmer and grower achievement and showcases good practice, enabling the sharing of positive farming and growing stories.

The 11 regional awards ceremonies take place all over New Zealand from February through to April, with the winner of each region progressing to the national showcase, where a supreme winner is awarded the Gordon Stephenson Trophy.

At each regional awards dinner, the Hill Labs Agri Science Award is presented to the entrant who displays excellence in the use of technology tools to increase productivity and minimise environmental impacts. The recipient must also show a good understanding of soil and water protection, with supporting measurement records including an active weed and pest management plan.

“We are truly proud to align with Ballance to recognise and showcase growers' who have successfully integrated environmental conservation with their commercial goals,” said Erin McIlmurray, Agriculture Sector Manager, Hill Labs. “We are excited to see the nominations for 2024”.
