Caroline Hill - Key Account Manager - Agriculture
“I first started at Hill Labs in 2001 and spent 11 years working in the agricultural lab in a variety of roles, including Soil Lab Technician and Team Leader. During the first few years, I balanced working full time whilst also studying towards and gaining a Diploma in Science Technology. After returning from Brisbane in 2020, I rejoined the company in my current role as Key Account Manager - Agriculture.
In this role that is part of our wider commercial team, I have the opportunity to travel around our beautiful country meeting with our larger business clients, as well as farmers and growers. I really enjoy these interactions and find that being in the field provides valuable learning.
The other aspect of my role that I really enjoy is attending conferences and awards evenings such as the Ballance Farm Environment Awards. I am passionate about NZ agriculture and horticulture and value our company's longstanding involvement with this program. It is really cool to see what great things are in motion to conserve the environment.
I thoroughly enjoy working with our clients and learning about their testing requirements, and I feel privileged to work for a reputable, independent company that is 100% NZ Owned and operated. My time outside of work is spent with family and friends and I have two little boys that love the outdoors, local playgrounds and bike riding adventures.”
