We are delighted to announce our September 2022 PIHA Executive Award winner - Alexa (Lexi) Badenhorst, Team Leader in Auckland, pictured here in the centre of the photo. To her right is Sanaya Hansotia, and on her left is Kyla Rodgers, both of whom helped Lexi create a much more effective storage system at the Auckland lab.
Lexi's nomination was submitted by her Duke Street colleagues, Lisa Jones, Andrea Richardson and Sandra Nieuwoudt:
“Stepping up!! Lexi has stepped up into the Team Leader role in Auckland and has shone in the role. Her communication, and proactive approach to completing queries in a timely manner, has had a positive flow on effect in us being able to complete our roles in the required time frames.
Lexi is not afraid to ask for help or advice if she is unsure about the correct procedures. From others in our wider team, we hear that she has been innovative in implementing improvements such as more effective storage. She has also improved the health and safety of the team through contractor management, improved reporting, and implementing a lab coat cleaning programme. We all appreciate the impact your contribution has made. Thanks Lexi!”
Congratulations, Lexi, and thank you for your efforts and commitment to Hill Laboratories.
