PIHA AWARD WINNER AUGUST

We are very pleased to announce our August 2022 PIHA Executive Award winner is Jamie Staton from our Dispatch team in Christchurch.
Jamie's nomination was submitted by her line manager, Luke Cambus:
“My nomination for the PIHA executive award is for Jamie Staton. Jamie joined the Christchurch SR/Dispatch team in November 2021. Jamie has always been a fantastic employee and addition to our team, but has stepped up in a big way over the last few months.
After SR and Dispatch split into two teams, Jamie has been working full-time in dispatch. Following some changes to staff in the team, Jamie helped out Sample Reception by upskilling to confirmation in 2 weeks to help out with cover. During that time, and even after it, she worked longer Saturdays to ensure no samples would get missed, and has remained flexible to jump back into SR whenever they need her.
Jamie is a shining example of the value of cross-training staff. When I came back from some sick leave, my inbox was full of emails with issues – nearly all of which Jamie had responded to and dealt with. She had kept me updated on all issues within the team, her solutions to them, and ensured that no work would be delayed because of them.
Jamie shows the values of PIHA in everything she does - she is a vibrant personality within the team, who works to an incredibly high standard and will go the extra mile to help anyone out. Jamie is very deserving of the PIHA award, and I am incredibly grateful to have her as part of my team.”
