Our Agricultural Environmental Stewardship

Hill Laboratories have long been supporting agricultural growers across all segments towards environmental sustainability. As a New Zealand-owned company, we have a strong commitment to helping our customers achieve their environmental goals, whether this is through the range of tests available to farmers, sponsorship such as the Ballance Farm Environment Awards or supporting occasional projects. One such project, where Hill Laboratories made some contribution, is re-published here with permission from Rural News.
The project led by DairyNZ on the property of Gray & Marilyn Baldwin, was a case study to demonstrate the potential of a wetland restoration towards nutrient loss reduction and increased biodiversity. As noted in this article, the project partners were Waikato River Authority, DairyNZ, Baldwin Family Trust, Opus International Consultants, Hill Laboratories and Waikato Regional Council.
