New cyanide and sulphide methods for water testing

Hill Laboratories have recently moved to segmented flow analysis, with on-line sample preparation, for all cyanide and sulphide in water testing.  The segmented flow methods have been fully validated, and we hold IANZ accreditation for these method referencing ISO and APHA methods.

We have also introduced screen and trace detection limits for cyanide and sulphide.   Offering screen and trace detection limits allow us to better understand the analysis requirements of your samples and facilitate smoother sample processing in the laboratory.  The new screen detection limits for cyanide and sulphide sit well below typical New Zealand ‘trade waste’ limits of 5 g m-3 for sulphide and 1 – 3 g m-3 for cyanide.  

From the 1st August 2018 we have automatically updated all effluent and trade waste samples to the screen detection limits.  Details of the new screen and trace offering for cyanide and sulphide in water are below:
