Hill Labs team visit Careers Expos around the country

A career in the sciences holds many possibilities, and to share this message some of the Hill Labs team have been out on the road over the last month or so, visiting Careers Expos and connecting with university students about the opportunities at Hill Laboratories.
For Learning and Development Manager Rebecca Fitzgerald, it was fantastic to be back in person to attend these events. “There’s nothing better than having a face-to-face conversation with a potential future employee or someone just keen to find out what Hill Laboratories is all about.”
Hills attended the Waikato University Careers Fair in July, which the company has attended in previous years, and more recently the Careers Fair evening at Lincoln University for the first time.
Next was the University of Auckland Careers Expo, intended for students to connect with chemistry professionals across varying industries. Duke St Organics Section Manager Olivia Underwood attended along with Danielle Carter (pictured) from Hills’ Auckland lab. They enjoyed connecting with so many passionate students close to finishing their degrees, who are invested in the future of science in New Zealand.
They found that the students were also really engaged with the environmental initiatives at Hills, and so they were able to share Hills’ successful and ongoing initiatives in this space.
