Hill Laboratories has invested in a quality indicator testing system, which will provide clients with 48 hour results for the majority of tests; the fastest results in the industry. Traditionally, and in most New Zealand laboratories, testing of quality indicators is done manually, using agar plates or culture tubes. The adoption of TEMPO technology demonstrates ongoing commitment to bring agri-food manufactures, state-of-art technology that delivers better outcomes for their businesses. This means faster results without increasing testing costs.

The TEMPO instrument has been extensively tested and validated for use with a wide range of sample types including food matrices, petfood and environmental samples. In addition, the method is AOAC and AFNOR approved giving further confidence in the accuracy and repeatability of the results.
