Celebrating 21 Years of Hill Labs at Fieldays!

Fieldays is celebrating its 50th year in 2018, and while we can’t claim to have been along for the journey since the beginning, we too will be celebrating a significant milestone - our 21st anniversary of attending Fieldays!

Since we first attended in 1998, with two staff (one of who is still an employee!) our stand, brand and reputation - has grown immensely. In 2018, we will send our biggest team yet, with over 40 staff assisting at our new site in the pavillion. Our team at Fieldays is representative of all facets of our business - technicians, technologists, team leaders, section managers, client services managers, and our executive team. That’s something we’re extremely proud of - the calibre of all our staff and their ability to share and communicate their knowledge with our customers.

A big change for us this year is the addition of a stand in the Careers and Education Hub. Supporting the next generation of science innovators is key to the future of Hill Laboratories and more broadly, analytical testing, says Learning & Development Manager, Rebecca Fitzgerald.

“Providing young people with pathways to their chosen field, focusing on technical skills and soft skills that make them employable once they finish their studies is hugely beneficial to us, but more importantly, value adding for our broad customer base.”

CEO Dr Jonno Hill says a big focus for 2018 is showcasing our commitment to innovation and the collaboration between agriculture and science.

“This is my first Fieldays as CEO, and I’m excited to see the ongoing innovation in the sector as a whole, but also how data is becoming increasingly important in driving the ever-more-challenging decision making in our primary sectors.”

Hill Labs will be set up in the Mystery Creek Pavilion at Site PD38. Make sure you come in from out of the cold and say hello!
