Gluten Testing

Hill Laboratories now have Gluten Testing

Hill Laboratories are now able to test for the presence of gluten in food using the ELISA (Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) technique and Spectrophotometer technology

In gluten testing, ELISA method detects the actual gluten protein by binding antibodies to the allergen (gluten); this binding creates a colorimetric change that can be measured. The change of colour is proportional to the quantity of gluten in the sample.
