If you are applying for a current vacancy we have listed on our website your application will be viewed by the Hiring Manager for that specific department; i.e Organics Laboratory Technician applications will be viewed by the Organics Department Hiring Manager. The Hiring managers are often our Team Leaders and Section Managers as well.
I have applied before but was unsuccessful, is it worth applying again?
Yes. As each vacancy is handled by different department Hiring Managers it is possible that your application can be viewed by a different Hiring Manager each time you apply. If you were not successful in being shortlisted for one vacancy it does not mean you will not be successful within another department as each department can be looking at a different skills sets, qualifications and experience.
I am looking for a summer internship, are any available?
We employ a number of University students on a part time basis throughout the year. Any summer vacancies that become available are often filled by these students, however if you are looking for a summer internship then please contact our HR administrator via email (dana.wildeboer@hill-labs.co.nz) and your cv will be distributed to our various lab managers for consideration if any additional opportunities become available.
I have withdrawn my application accidentally, how can I reapply?
If you have accidentally withdrawn your application and would like to reapply for a vacancy please contact our HR administrator via email (dana.wildeboer@hill-labs.co.nz) your email must include the name you have registered under and the title of the vacancy you wish to apply for. We can then reset your application provided the vacancy has not yet closed.
