Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)

About GLP Testing

Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) is a testing quality standard governed by OECD guidelines. GLP testing is required by industries that need to submit supporting documents to regulating bodies to gain registration for their newly developed products.

Hill Laboratories have a dedicated GLP team and our Food & Bioanalytical Laboratory is accredited by International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ) to offer this service.

GLP testing will normally include testing the active ingredients or metabolites of a chemical product. Examples of GLP testing are agricultural chemical companies that develop pesticides for the horticulture market and animal health companies that develop veterinary medicines.
